Name that Baby!!
Motherhood — By admin on December 10, 2008 at 7:57 pmAs I was looking through my pictures for my earlier post I was reminded of the time I finally decided to order prints of all my digital photos. I love to scrap book, but have gotten so far behind because I never get prints. Let me just explain to you that I have 13,812 photos in IPhoto. They start from late 1999. Also there are no pictures of NumberOne (born in 98) unless they had been scanned in. We didn’t have a digital camera. Anyway, about the order. I didn’t order them all. Just the ones from 1999-2005-ish. I waited anxiously for them to come in the mail. They finally came and I quickly realized they were not in the same order that I had submitted them. Oh crap. That meant I would have to organize a few thousand pictures. Luckily BigDaddy volunteered to help. We spread them out on our bed and began to sort them in to piles according to which child was featured. All is going well until we started to realize just how alike our children looked as infants.
Especially these two- I swear its not the same kid, look closely at the time stamp.
It was really very comical. We kept having to compare all these pictures to ones that we were “sure” were of each kid. And then all of the sudden we would not be so sure..
NumberFour was the only one that was “easy” because being the only boy, he was the only one wearing boy clothes..most of the time
same car seat..
different baby..see, smaller?
And by the way these pictures we both taken in the hospital. The difference is one 7lb baby and one 5lb baby.
And NumberFive was a little easier because her pictures from the hospital were a little more dramatic than the rest.
Even as they got older it was a little difficult to tell:
But NumberTwo’s head is slightly larger and rounder than the others..
NumberFive had this signature smile:
My only son:
NumberThree has a mouth like Steven Tyler from Aerosmith:
See?
Care to take a stab at this one?
Note to self: Print pictures and organize them as you go.
We kind of gave up and just took a stab at who the picture looked most like and tossed it on the pile. And then changed our mind a couple of times. And sometimes I would recognize an outfit, but with all the hand me downs we have around here, that isn’t very fool proof.
And really there is no telling how may pictures go stuck in the wrong piles. Sorry kids.
