		<description>My granddaughter had just the opposite problem.  From birth she required very little sleep.  She would wake up after a couple of hours or sleep and be wide awake, even as an infant.  She never slept all night until she was nearly 4.  Today she is 12 and still needs much less sleep than most kids.  Hope you find out what&#039;s going on.  It&#039;s always scary when the little ones have problems.</description>
